Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball (born November 24 in 1981) is an American political commentator. She was a former political hopeful as a host of American television at MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagarenjeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were quitting the show in order to release their own independent project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. Her guest appearances include on Fox News, CNN and Fox News. Ball is currently engaged to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball attributes her continued fascination with politics to her experience as a newly-wed mother in the 2008 primaries. She also viewed the US presidential election from Jordan when she was working in Jordan. She saw the effects that it had on the residents of her home country and was inspired to understand the global impact of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. From June 2012 to July 2015, she was host of the MSNBC show The Cycle. She founded the People's House Project, an action committee working for Democratic causes in May of 2017.
