Kyra Minturn
KyraMinturn Sedgwick, born 19th August 1965, is an American actor. She is most famous for her role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award for her portrayal as Johnson in 2007. The seventh season of the show was concluded on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also known for her role as Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick got a Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline Wuntch in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's roles in other films include Oliver Stone's Born to the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's solos (1992) The Heart and Souls(93), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) and Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2012). Sedgwick was the daughter of Patricia Rosenwald, Speech and Family Therapist and Henry Dwight Sedgwick IV who was a venture capitalist. She was born in New York City. Her mother was Jewish. Her father was Episcopalian and of English descent. Sedgwick has announced that she is Jewish and has been a participant in Passover meal times.
